Kinetic Rope Guide

Welcome to the Kinetic Rope Help Guide! This guide will help you get started, solve common issues, and answer frequently asked questions about your kinetic rope.

1. Quick Start Guide

Get Started in Just a Few Steps:

  1. Unbox Your Product: Ensure all items listed in the “What’s Included” section are present.
  2. Using Your Kinetic Rope:
    • Step 1: Connect the kinetic rope to the soft shackles (knot facing up) of both vehicles securely.
    • Step 2: Slowly accelerate the recovery vehicle in the desired direction. The kinetic rope will stretch and apply force to the stuck vehicle as it becomes taut.
    • Step 3: Once the vehicle is freed, disconnect the rope and store it properly.

  • Issue: Rope is hard to clean after muddy use.
    • Solution: Rinse with clean water, gently scrub with a soft brush, and allow to air dry completely before storing.
  • Issue: Stretch doesn’t feel smooth during recovery.
    • Solution: Ensure proper attachment to both vehicles and that the recovery vehicle accelerates slowly for a smooth stretch.

5. Common Customer Questions

Q1: What’s the difference between a tow strap and a kinetic rope?

A: Kinetic ropes stretch during recovery to create a smooth and powerful pulling force. Tow straps, in contrast, do not stretch and are better for towing vehicles rather than recovering them from stuck positions.

Q2: When should I use a kinetic rope?

A: Use a kinetic rope for off-road recoveries in sand, snow, or mud where a vehicle is stuck and requires additional force to be freed.

Q3: How much does the kinetic rope stretch?

A: Kinetic ropes can stretch up to 30% of their length, providing a smoother and more effective recovery.

Q4: How do I clean and maintain my kinetic rope?

A: Rinse with clean water to remove dirt and debris, gently scrub with a soft brush if needed, and air dry completely before storage. Store it in the provided carry bag to prevent damage.
